Dimple Disaster

Well, I was overdue for a mistake, and oh my word, it was painful. Well, no point in belaboring it, here is my 'oops'. [full size]

As you can see, this is what builders call a "Figure-8". It's not an "uncommon" mistake per-se, and I expected to make one sooner or later. [full size] A close-up of the figure-8 mistake. For now, I've put down the skin, and will be contacting vans builder support for advice. Searching the vans airforce forums, it looks like tho common fixes are to drill to the next rivet size, or to install a "scab" plate, I'll post the response here once they get back to me.
